In our last blog post we provided you with 7 key reasons to head to the pub. One of our favourite amongst those is the wide range of events you will usually find - Pubs are more than just drinking holes! There’s almost always a well-planned schedule providing you with music, sport, get-togethers and all sorts of other good stuff. And we’re no different!
You may have noticed that we have (cleverly) coined the term ‘GOAT’ times, which we use a lot to describe many of the things that we host and the great times we have had together with you. In the last two years we’ve had a lot of fun thinking up a bunch of interesting things to try out. The ones that we find work best and that we enjoy most are based around growing communities. Not easy, but certainly rewarding, and seeing the same faces back and new friendships forming is what it’s all about.
So, more on our events - from regular to seasonal and unique celebrations we have something for everyone. And here’s a quick run down of our recurring events that you will find at The Baby Goat Pubs:
The International Social, the brainchild of our Pub Legend, Barry, takes place every Tuesday from 18:00 at the Baby Goat House in Grindelhof and brings people from all over the world together to make new friends or catch up with old friends over a few beers. It’s an awesome vibe, and a great way to start the week.
Every second Tuesday at The Baby Goat Barn we hold our famous Pub Quiz from 20:00. Challenging questions, fun activities, and above all a great excuse to get together with friends for the most fun you will have sitting down! The Quiz is free and you have the chance to win great prizes.
The Open Mic night is one of the nights we look forward to most. Everyone is welcome to come on down and perform. That can be anything from from music to comedy, readings to poetry. Everyone is welcome and all performances will be appreciated.
It really is an Open Mic, so if you come on down with your instrument then you’ll be able to perform. To be sure of getting a playing spot, you can also contact us at barry@thebabygoat.de
Run GOATS run! Twice a month we enjoy our Run Club from either The Baby Goat House or The Baby Goat Barn. We run an easy pace around the local area and then enjoy a cold beer and chat afterwards. No stress, no pressure, and no GOAT shall be left behind.
It’s something we’ve realised we and you love, some nice tunes or fresh beats to power you into and through the weekend. That’s why we’re putting together a full programme of events well ahead of time, to make sure that you’ve got a wide choice of fun things to choose from.
